Schnapsen is played with 20 cards, the Tens, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces of all four suits.

Play Schnapsen and win! - Once both players have received 5 cards, the uppermost card is turned face up to determine the Trumps suit. As long as there are cards left in the pile, there is no compulsion to follow suit or play Trumps. The Jack of the Trumps suit can be exchanged for the face-up Trumps card.

Schnapsen quick rules

Schnapsen is played with 20 cards, the Tens, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces of all four suits. The object of the game is to either win 66 points or win the last trick. If there are no more cards in the pile or if it has been "turned", players are obligated to follow suit or play Trumps. The player who is the first to reach 66 points or who wins the last trick wins the game. The score of a game is based on the points made by the loser.
